In 2010, CSUSB's College of Business and Public Administration was recognized by European CEO Magazine as one of the world's top 22 business schools and the 18th most innovative. All undergraduate and master's programs in the college are AACSB accredited, placing it in the top 5% of business schools worldwide.

The campus is located in San Bernardino, between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, known for its scenic beauty and pleasant climate. The location offers easy access to major tourist destinations like Hollywood, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, and Malibu Beach. The university serves a wide area, including Arizona and California.

CSUSB comprises six colleges: College of Business and Public Administration, College of Arts and Letters, College of Education, College of Natural Sciences, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and College of Extended Learning. The university offers up to 70 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, with nearly 20,000 students, including 1,000 international students from over 60 countries. Programs such as MBA, MPA, MSA, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communication, Counseling, Human Resources, Public Administration, Language and Literature, Computer Science, Education, Psychology, and many others are nationally accredited.
