The university of Dayton
The University of Dayton (UD), established in 1850, is a private Catholic university located in Dayton, Ohio. It is one of the top ten Catholic universities in the US and the largest private university in Ohio.
UD's campus covers 388 acres along the Great Miami River, with notable buildings such as the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and the Dayton University Theatre. UD has a research institute in Suzhou Industrial Park, China. Strong programs include engineering, business, and law, with top-ranking aerospace engineering and entrepreneurship programs.
UD enrolls over 11,000 students, including more than 8,000 undergraduates and 3,000 graduate students from over 40 countries. The university offers more than 70 academic programs across various fields.
