The University at Buffalo (UB), also known as the State University of New York at Buffalo, is a public university located in Buffalo, New York. It is one of the flagship campuses of the SUNY system and is renowned as a "Public Ivy."
UB offers a wide range of programs and is known for its comprehensive curriculum. In 1989, it became a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU), recognized as one of the top research universities in North America. UB is home to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the first cancer treatment and research center in the U.S., and its School of Engineering is one of the earliest to offer computer science programs.
